Anush Minasyan
Attorney at Law, Greater Los Angeles

EDUCATION
Anush earned her bachelor’s degree from California State University, Northridge. After completing her undergraduate studies, she continued her legal education at Southwestern Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctor in May 2023.
BACKGROUND
While attending Southwestern Law School, Anush developed a strong foundation in civil litigation through hands-on legal experience. She interned with a personal injury law firm, where she assisted with discovery and motion practice, and gained early exposure to litigation strategy and client advocacy. In addition, she completed a judicial externship with the United States District Court for the Central District of California, serving under the Honorable then–Chief Judge Philip S. Gutierrez. In that role, she conducted legal research, drafted memoranda and orders, and observed federal court proceedings, gaining valuable insight into judicial decision-making and courtroom practice. Following law school, she completed a post-bar clerkship with a plaintiff-side wage and hour litigation firm. After successfully passing the California Bar Examination, she continued with the firm as an associate attorney. During this time, she represented employees in wage and hour matters, handling cases involving claims for unpaid wages, meal and rest period violations, and overtime disputes. Her responsibilities included drafting pleadings and motions, conducting discovery, and negotiating settlements. She subsequently transitioned her practice to workers’ compensation defense, where she represents employers and insurance carriers in all phases of workers’ compensation proceedings.
