Marion M. Meade

EDUCATION

Marion M. Meade earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at the University of Southern California in 1999. She graduated magna cum laude, and was bestowed the elite honor of the Order of Troy and earned departmental honors from the Annenberg School for Communication. She received her Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law and became a member of the California State Bar in 2002.

BACKGROUND

Marion has over 15 years experience in all aspects of Worker’s Compensation defense. She began her career at a small to midsize workers’ compensation defense firm in 2003 as an associate attorney where she became a junior partner in 2007. She has worked at various firms and spent more than a decade as the managing attorney for 3 hospitals governed by a devout body.Her legal experience includes, but is not limited to, taking numerous doctor depositions, a successful trial record, and presenting oral argument before the Appeals Board.

Marion grew up working at her families’ restaurant businesses and has more than two decades of experience in customer service, management, and business.
Marion’s breadth of experience gives her unique insight into the challenges employer’s face and the impact claims can have on their business.
As a result, Marion is able to provide realistic cost/benefit case analyses for litigation versus settlement, present aggressive defenses, negotiate favorable settlements, and effectuate quick claim resolution and file closure.

As a USC alum, Marion is a die-hard Trojan football fan! She loves animals and has devoted the majority of her life in service of rescuing and caring for animals, by volunteering, working at an animal emergency hospital, and raising her own rescued furbabies. She loves to travel, cook, and enjoys good wine.
